Contemporary Violinist Brooke Alford is an International Recording and Teaching Artist who values excellence, authenticity, and connection to her audiences. An R&B/Soul Jazz Top 30 Charting Artist with 5 independently released CDs to date, Ms. Alford was nominated as “2022 Breakout Artist” by Smooth Jazz Network. As a Teaching Artist, Ms. Alford advocates sustaining global music education programs, emphasizing the importance of not only entertaining through artistry, but also community contributions through music.

An Aberdeen, North Carolina native who has called Atlanta, Georgia home for over 3 decades, Ms. Alford has has toured with Global Music Icons such as Stevie Wonder, Reggae Legend Beres Hammond, and the allwomen’s jazz collective band, Jazz in Pink featuring Gail Jhonson to name a few. She has opened for The Whispers, Mint Condition, India.Arie, Tony! Toni! Toné!, Peabo Bryson, Marion Meadows, Najee, and Will Downing, shared the stage with Alex Bugnon, Julian Vaughn, Hip-Hop Legend Chubb Rock, and recorded with Bob Baldwin, Chantae Cann, Cory Henry (formally of Snarky Puppy), Marcus Anderson, and more.

Having toured in Kazakhstan, Central Asia with the all-women’s American R&B/Hip-Hop/Alternative band Jaci Caprice featuring Tonal Soul in partnership with the global organization American Voices, this opportunity further spanned Ms. Alford’s artistic mission across cultures of empowering women and young musicians. These experiences have clearly solidified Ms. Alford’s journey as a distinguished International Performing and Teaching Artist and a Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Listee.

Ms. Alford continues to celebrate her latest R&B/Smooth Jazz album, “Heaven on Earth” on her various tours and on the radio airwaves. The album features GRAMMY© Nominee Reggie Hines, Award-winning musicians and producers Justin C. Gilbert, Ant Parrish, George Freeman, Bob Baldwin, and more. While touring and performing in the community, Ms. Alford is determined to keep music alive for the next generation of musicians through partnering with Henry For Music, Inc. of Henry County, GA, Alabama State University and various collegiate arts programs, and The Brooke Alford Violin and Viola Studies Program. Ms. Alford is a Florida State University College of Music alumna and holds a B.M. in Violin Performance cum laude.

Brooke Alford attributes her professional and personal successes to prioritizing health, fitness, and holistic living. A former natural body building competitor and competitive 5k/10k runner, Ms. Alford advocates women and musicians’ wellness through workshops which incorporate healthy nutritional guidance, empowering affirmations, breathing techniques for stress relief, and fitness tips on and off the stage.

Outside of her professional ventures, Ms. Alford loves to read, learn, bask in nature and the sun, embrace self-awareness for daily growth, spend time with her loving family, and enjoy nourishing plant-based and vegan cuisine.
